Global Marine works closely with joint venture partners S B Submarine Systems and International Ocean Group, our long standing partnerships with both organisations brings a full-service capability to our customers worldwide, from initial desk top study through to cable recovery at the end of the system’s lifecycle.
The acquisition of leading offshore renewables specialist CWind, in February 2016, extends the service portfolio yet further and reiterates Global Marine’s commitment to this sector. CWind has built an enviable track record and has to date supported the construction and operation of over 30 wind farms in the North Sea, Irish Sea and the Baltic Sea delivering a broad range of construction and O&M services.
We are recognised as a world leader in the provision of subsea cable engineering solutions.
At the end of 2017 Global Marine Group acquired Fugro’s trenching and cable laying business, now branded as Global Offshore. This brings additional assets and experience across multiple power cable projects with the team delivering cable installation, repair and trenching services to the offshore renewables, utilities and oil & gas markets.
