Normand Clipper

The latest member of our fleet. Normand Clipper was built 2001 as a Cable Laying and Repair Vessel.

The vessel underwent a major conversion in 2005 to a subsea construction and umbilical lay DP vessel, operating successfully in the Oil & Gas sector for many years.

In 2021, the vessel was chartered by Global Marine and converted back into a deep water telecoms cable installation vessel. With a capacity of over 5000 tonnes of cable, up to 96 repeaters and a 3m burial subsea plough, the vessel will be used to support fibre optic cable lay operations within the telecoms sector.
