Junior System Technician (JST)

Support subsea and cable operations through a hands-on, multi-skilled role involving ROV operations, fibre optic jointing, equipment maintenance, and offshore project delivery

Trainee Cable Engineer (TCE)

Develop the skills to perform cable engineering duties onboard, supporting installation, maintenance, testing, and repair operations under the guidance of experienced engineers, with a clear pathway to a qualified Cable Engineer role.

Salary & Benefits 

Employed through GMSG, you will earn a starting salary of £36,000 as a Trainee Cable Engineer (TCE) or Junior Systems Technician (JST), along with a competitive benefits package that supports your wellbeing and long-term career.

Benefits include:

    • Company pension scheme

    • Dental insurance

    • Generous sick pay (6 months full pay and 6 months half pay following probation)
    • Retention pay,including an operational uplift of 5% (JST) and 10% (post-training TCE/3CE equivalent)
